There is no trustworthy universal USD price for a facelift in Turkey. Ask every practice for the same written USD breakdown: surgeon fee; anesthesia and anesthetist; hospital or surgical-facility fee; medications, dressings and tests; transfer and hotel if included; follow-up appointments; revision and complication policies; cancellation and refund terms; tax or currency conversion; and what changes if surgery is postponed after an in-person examination. Confirm who invoices you, whether payment is to the licensed facility or an intermediary, and what medical records you will receive before flying home.
A low initial quote is not necessarily a low total cost. If complications require extra nights, a hospital admission or treatment after returning home, ask in advance who arranges and pays for care. Membership in a provincial medical chamber listed by the Turkish Medical Association should be checked individually, not presumed from a doctor’s address.
Second, obtain the full legal name and street address of the hospital or clinic where the operation will occur. Check the correct category in the Ministry’s international health-tourism authorization lists. A doctor’s personal site and a coordinator’s brand may not be the licensed operating entity. If the facility claims TÜSKA or JCI accreditation, ask for a certificate number and verify the exact branch directly with the issuing body. Do not display an accreditation badge merely because a brand has another accredited branch.
Third, ask the facility in writing whether it has an operating room suitable for your procedure, a named anesthesia team, emergency equipment, overnight observation and a transfer agreement or intensive-care access when needed.
