Hair Transplant Clinics and Doctors in Iran: How to Compare Your Options

A few days of travel can lead to a decision that affects your scalp and appearance for years. Start with a diagnosis, donor protection, a named surgical team and follow-up you can actually reach. This guide compares ten clinics, ten physicians, provider-published cases and transparent cost examples—with Tehran as the main focus.

How this comparison was prepared. The questions reflect Hamintour Medical Tourism’s coordination experience and patient feedback, checked against public provider pages, case galleries and professional registers. This is an informational comparison, not a paid ranking or advertorial. A clinic’s published photographs do not prove a current licence, a complication rate or your likely result. The treating physician must decide whether surgery suits you. For the full treatment journey, read our Hair Transplant in Iran guide.

What makes a clinic comparison useful?

Search position, a large social following and an impressive graft count are not evidence that a particular operation is appropriate. The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery warns about unlicensed technicians performing surgical tasks and about inadequate physician responsibility. Ask who diagnoses your hair loss, designs the recipient area, extracts follicles, creates incisions and supervises the team. Record the person’s name and role before paying.

Start with diagnosis and donor supply

Hair transplantation relocates follicles; it does not create a new source of hair. The doctor should assess the cause and likely progression of loss, the stability of the donor area, medical alternatives and the possibility that further sessions may be needed. If there is active inflammation, diffuse thinning or unclear scarring, diagnosis takes priority over selling a package. The American Academy of Dermatology explains why different causes require different treatment.

Make accountability visible

Request the named physician’s registration, the facility’s current authorisation, a written plan of physician and staff duties, anaesthesia arrangements, graft handling, follow-up and instructions for complications. A professional register verifies a person’s listed credentials; it does not independently certify the clinic or predict your outcome.

Compare photographs with the same starting pattern, hair type, length, lighting and angle. Ask for the donor-area image as well as the recipient result. The “after” image should have a known date, and you should know whether medication, fibres, styling or another procedure contributed. A provider gallery is useful evidence of what it publishes, but it is self-selected.

We give ten clinics below because more than one credible option helps you compare. No clinic is assigned a numerical score. If the provider cannot name the operating doctor, show relevant case detail, or explain what happens after you go home, pause the booking and keep researching.

Ten hair-transplant clinics to investigate: nine in Tehran, one in Mashhad

This is a research shortlist, not a ranking of surgical outcomes. Each entry retains five published cases from the Arabic version, together with the provider’s own website, gallery, published address source and map search. Check that the address and treatment team are current before travelling. None of these photographs independently proves a facility licence or identifies who performed every surgical step.

1. Tehran Kasht

Published location: No. 136, Fayazi (Fereshteh) Street, Tehran. Provider address source · Google Maps search

Official provider website · Full provider gallery

The source gallery shows several scalp comparisons as well as women’s scalp and eyebrow examples. Ask which clinician handles your specific procedure and whether the photographs reflect the same branch and method.

2. H2 Clinic

Published location: Salari Alley, Andarzgoo Street, Farmanieh, Tehran. Provider address source · Google Maps search

Official provider website · Full provider gallery

The clinic publishes procedure categories and a case gallery. Ask for the named operating doctor, exact team roles and a review pathway if you return home soon after surgery.

3. Fakhraei Clinic — Tehran

Published location: Jam Centre, 10th floor, Unit 1017, Jamaran Street, Niavaran, Tehran. Provider address source · Google Maps search

Official provider website · Full provider gallery

A dedicated hair-transplant gallery and a Tehran branch page make the location and examples inspectable. Confirm the branch, operating clinician and dates of comparable cases.

4. Pamchal Clinic

Published location: Mahsa Building, 5th floor, Unit 25, East Fifth Alley near Kaj Square, Saadat Abad, Tehran. Provider address source · Google Maps search

Official provider website · Full provider gallery

Its published gallery offers transplant examples that can help discuss hairline style. Request full-size photographs, the treating physician and an explanation of donor management.

5. Hamsa Clinic

Published location: Reyhaneh Medical Building, 2nd floor, Unit 6, No. 1158 Shahid Madani Street, Narmak, Tehran. Provider address source · Google Maps search

Official provider website · Full provider gallery

Its own hair-transplant page gives an address and treatment information. Verify current facility documents and ask for a clear division of surgical responsibilities.

6. Helia Clinic — Tehran

Published location: Negine Elahiyeh Commercial Tower, first floor, Shariati Street before Qods Square, Tehran. Provider address source · Google Maps search

Official provider website · Full provider gallery

A Tehran branch and transplant information are published on the provider website. Check the present branch details and whether the clinician shown online will operate.

7. Khosroyani Clinic

Published location: Corner of Third Alley and East Sarv Street, Saadat Abad, Tehran. Provider address source · Google Maps search

Official provider website · Full provider gallery

The clinic publishes a gallery and Tehran address. Use those materials to ask for cases like your own rather than assuming one attractive result represents typical work.

8. Iran Fit Centre

Published location: Sixth Alley near the Valiasr–Yousef Abad junction, Tehran. Provider address source · Google Maps search

Official provider website · Full provider gallery

The centre publishes hair-transplant photographs and technique information. Ask whether the proposed approach is suitable for your donor supply, not simply which branded method is available.

9. Yekta Clinic — Piroozi

Published location: No. 7 Alaleh Alley, Piroozi Street after the Coca-Cola junction, Tehran. Provider address source · Google Maps search

Official provider website · Full provider gallery

Its Piroozi branch and hair-transplant page are public. Confirm the branch, current team, graft plan and whether the case photographs match the method offered to you.

10. Novin Irana Clinic

Published location: Irana Building, Bistoon 2 near Khayyam / Dastgheib 35, Mashhad. Provider address source · Google Maps search

Official provider website · Full provider gallery

This Mashhad option provides a useful comparison outside Tehran. Check how follow-up and transfers would work if your flights and other consultations are centred on Tehran.

The cases are reproduced from provider-published materials on Hamintour’s image host to keep the page legible on phones. Gallery links lead to the provider’s relevant source collection; request original full-size, dated case files directly from the clinic before relying on a comparison.

Ten named physicians and their direct professional records

These are names to research, not ten interchangeable “best surgeons”. The Iran Medical Council link concerns the individual’s professional registration, while the practice link shows a published hair-restoration or dermatology connection. Locations, team roles and availability can change. Some records show a specialty other than dermatology or plastic surgery; we preserve that distinction rather than relabelling every physician as a hair-transplant surgeon. Ask what the named person will actually do for your operation.

Before a deposit, open the official Medical Council member search and confirm the Persian name, registration number, current status and relevant scope. Then ask the clinic to put the operating physician and their role in writing. A valid registration does not prove current clinic licensing, case volume or clinical quality.

Hair-transplant prices: compare dollars, scope and the full trip

Public international-patient offers place Iran at the low end of this selected price comparison. That can be a meaningful advantage: a careful, written Iran quote may leave more room in a patient’s budget for travel, a consultation and proper follow-up. It is not proof that every Iranian clinic is cheaper than every provider in another country, nor that a lower price indicates the same surgical work. A quoted price without the named clinician and an agreed graft plan is incomplete.

These Iran figures come from commercial offers aimed at international patients. Source names: MedPalTrip and Iran Medical Tours. They are indicative advertisements, not Hamintour transaction data, a measured median, or prices promised by the ten clinics above. Local toman rates may apply to residents and must not be treated as foreign-patient quotes.

Iran beside regional, European and US examples

The table uses published examples rather than invented national averages. It puts all figures in approximate US dollars for orientation, but methods and package inclusions differ. Germany and Dubai conversions are rounded; exchange rates and published listings change. Obtain same-day quotations for the same technique, graft plan, physician involvement and aftercare before claiming a real saving.

Price source names: MedPalTrip, Iran Medical Tours, Acıbadem International, EsthetiCare Dubai, Medical Inn Hair, Hair College and ForHair. UAE conversion uses the Central Bank of the UAE’s dirham–dollar peg; Germany figures are rounded conversions of provider euro starting prices. These are not matched medical quotations or outcome comparisons. The Iran band is the lowest entry band among these selected published examples, but country-wide “cheapest” claims cannot be substantiated from them.

Ask for the total bill in writing: surgeon and team, facility, anaesthesia, tests, medicines, first wash, hotel, flights, visa, transport, interpreter, taxes, follow-up and possible revision. Ask what happens to the price or deposit if the physician recommends fewer grafts, a different method, postponement or no surgery after direct examination. Comparing transparent proposals is where a lower price becomes useful.

Compare a real plan with our quote

Send scalp and donor-area photographs, your hair-loss history and any written alternative quotation. Hamintour Medical can ask suitable providers for an itemised proposal so you can compare the same services line by line. We welcome that comparison; the treating physician sets the medical plan.

How to read 50 before-and-after case entries

The clinic section above contains 50 case entries and 65 image files. Some providers publish a composite before-and-after image; others publish two separate photographs. These are not 65 different patients. Cases span scalp hair, women’s hair, eyebrows and beard or moustache examples. They come from ten provider websites, which reduces reliance on a single gallery.

Look for comparable starting hair loss, consistent light, camera position, hair length, wet-versus-dry styling and a visible donor area. Ask how long after surgery the second image was taken. Early healing photos show a different stage from later growth. Also ask whether finasteride, minoxidil, styling products, fibres, PRP or another procedure affected the appearance. We have not independently audited consent records, surgery dates, graft counts or the identity of the treating clinician for these images.

A patient with curly or Afro-textured hair, fine hair, extensive baldness, diffuse thinning or prior surgery should request examples that resemble their own situation. A dense hairline in a person with abundant donor hair does not answer what is safe for someone with limited supply. See more hair-transplant before-and-after cases and Hamintour treatment examples and videos for additional research, then ask the provider for unedited originals.

Women, eyebrows and beards need different questions

Women’s scalp transplantation

Hair thinning in women has several possible causes. A widening part, traction, scarring disease, hormonal factors and nutritional or medical conditions cannot be sorted out from a photograph alone. The AAD diagnostic guidance explains why an accurate diagnosis is needed before choosing treatment. Ask about donor density, whether shaving is required, future progression and whether medical therapy should be considered before surgery.

Request frontal, part-line and donor-area views from comparable women’s cases. The main women’s hair transplant guide and women’s case collection provide more targeted reading.

Eyebrow transplantation

Direction, angle, curl, symmetry and scar status matter more than a large graft number. Scalp hair moved into a brow may require regular trimming. Ask the clinician to show a design while you are awake and explain who creates recipient sites. A fresh postoperative image cannot establish the later appearance.

Beard and moustache transplantation

Discuss the shape in both frontal and side views, natural growth direction, donor hair texture and whether a scar or active skin condition changes the plan. Ask for the same level of surgeon accountability as in scalp surgery. See the beard transplant example collection for further provider-published images.

Repair and second procedures

Prior transplant scars or a depleted donor zone can make a repeat operation more complex. Do not accept a high graft target until a clinician has examined donor reserves and explained what can realistically be improved. If the original work was done elsewhere, bring operative records and clear photographs.

Plan the visit and the months after returning home

Before booking, confirm nationality-specific entry requirements with the Iranian foreign ministry visa portal or the relevant consulate. Check flight routes, payment arrangements, your government’s current Iran travel advisory and insurance terms. The UK link is an example for British travellers; use your own country’s advice if different. Security and travel conditions can change, so no coordinator should promise an uneventful trip.

Build the itinerary around a consultation and surgeon-approved recovery plan, not around the shortest possible stay. Before arrival, send your history and photographs for preliminary review. On arrival, meet the operating physician, confirm the donor assessment and consent, and allow the plan to change if direct examination reveals a problem. On the operation day, record the actual graft count, technique, medicines and the name of the responsible clinician. Arrange the first wash and an early check before departure if the surgeon recommends it.

After returning home, keep the clinic’s written instructions and contact details. Send follow-up photographs through an agreed channel. If you develop fever, worsening pain, spreading redness, discharge or another concerning symptom, seek timely local medical assessment. The CDC medical-tourism guidance emphasises continuity of care and prompt attention to complications after travel. Hamintour can help reconnect you with the original clinic but cannot diagnose a complication remotely.

A transplanted follicle may shed its shaft before later growth becomes apparent. Timing varies; demand a realistic follow-up schedule rather than a guarantee of a fixed percentage or an exact month for “final” density. Native hair can continue thinning even if grafts survive. Discuss long-term management with the treating specialist.

What Hamintour Medical Tourism actually does

Hamintour is an Iran-based medical travel coordination platform. We introduce patients to possible physicians and clinics, help arrange communications and support the practical journey. We are not a hospital, clinic or surgical team. We do not diagnose the cause of hair loss, choose a graft number, prescribe medicine or perform the operation; those are clinical responsibilities of the licensed physician and facility.

Before you travel

We help collect your questions and records, contact suitable providers, request a preliminary clinical opinion and compare written proposals. We ask that the proposal identify the surgeon, planned method, graft estimate, team roles, facility, medicines, first wash and review. We can coordinate appointments and, if requested, flights and accommodation that suit the treatment schedule.

While you are in Iran

We can arrange airport reception, transport between hotel and clinic, translation or a patient companion when needed, and practical support during your stay. Tests or imaging are coordinated only on a clinician’s order. Sightseeing is considered only when the surgeon says the activity and timing are appropriate.

After you return

We can help pass your follow-up questions and photographs to the provider and reconnect you with the clinic when a review is needed. Urgent symptoms require local medical care; coordination by message is not a substitute for an examination.

Compare our price openly

Ask us for an itemised USD estimate and compare it with another written, like-for-like offer. We make the included services and exclusions visible, and we will explain why two apparent prices differ. This is a practical invitation to compare—not a claim that every Hamintour offer is the cheapest in every market.

For the broader process, see the Hamintour Medical Tourism hub; for treatment research, see our Medical Magazine. The companion Hair Transplant in Iran landing page explains techniques, candidacy, travel planning and wider case examples.

Frequently asked questions

Is there one officially ranked “best” hair-transplant clinic in Iran?

No official national clinical ranking establishes one universal winner. Compare diagnosis, the responsible physician, facility documentation, donor plan, relevant cases, written price and follow-up for your own situation.

Why does this guide focus on Tehran?

Nine of the ten documented clinic examples are in Tehran, where several consultations and practical services can be coordinated in one city. Mashhad is included as an additional option; geography alone is not a quality score.

Can I verify the surgeon before travelling?

Ask for the exact operating physician’s full name and registration number, then open the direct Iran Medical Council profile. Confirm current details with the clinic and ask who performs each surgical step.

How much is a scalp hair transplant in Iran?

Published international-patient offers used here suggest roughly US$1,000–2,500, but this is not a market average or a clinic quote. The method, graft plan, surgeon role and package inclusions can change the total.

Is Iran always the cheapest country for a hair transplant?

No country can be declared the cheapest for every case. Iran has the lowest entry band among the selected public examples in this article. Compare written quotes for the same medical scope and add travel and follow-up costs.

What is the difference between FUE and FUT?

FUE removes follicular units individually; FUT removes a strip of donor scalp for dissection into grafts. Both involve surgery and potential scarring. A clinician should explain which, if either, fits your donor area and goals.

Does “DHI” or another branded method guarantee better growth?

No. A device or technique name does not establish a better outcome for every patient. Ask exactly what the method changes, who performs the operation and what evidence supports its use in your case.

Are women candidates for hair transplantation?

Some women are, after diagnosis and donor assessment. Diffuse loss or an active scalp condition can change or rule out the plan. Ask a dermatologist to evaluate the cause first.

Are eyebrow and beard cases priced like scalp cases?

Not necessarily. The design, area, graft estimate and follow-up differ. Request a separate written plan for each procedure.

Can a before-and-after image prove my likely result?

No. The gallery is provider-selected and may lack a confirmed date, matched lighting, medical history and treatment details. Ask for full-size originals and comparable cases before using it in a consultation.

What should an international patient receive after surgery?

Ask for the operating physician and facility details, actual graft count, method, medicines, written aftercare, warning signs, the first review plan and an urgent contact.

Does Hamintour perform the transplant?

No. Hamintour coordinates introductions, appointments, travel support and follow-up communication. The licensed clinician and facility are responsible for diagnosis, consent, operation and medical care.

Sources and the limits of this comparison

Clinical and travel references: ISHRS consumer advocacy, NHS hair transplantation guide, AAD hair-loss diagnosis, CDC medical tourism, and Iran Medical Council search. Provider sites, address pages, galleries and doctors’ direct records are linked at the relevant entries above. Price-table source names are listed immediately below their table because promotional prices are not independently audited transaction data.

Information may change, particularly provider staffing, clinic locations, prices, visa rules and travel advisories. Reconfirm those items with their official source and a treating clinician before you make a booking. The final decision about whether surgery is suitable belongs to you and the licensed treatment team.

Three Hamintour options worth discussing first

There is no universal top-three result. These are three starting conversations selected from the ten documented clinic entries because each has a traceable official site, a relevant published case gallery and a Tehran location. Hamintour’s coordination experience and patient feedback inform the questions we would put to them, but the public evidence does not justify an outcome guarantee or imply that the other seven clinics are inferior.

1. Tehran Kasht — varied published case types

Its official gallery shows scalp, women’s, eyebrow and facial-hair categories, useful when the patient wants examples beyond a standard male hairline. Ask for the named physician, the branch that will treat you, a full donor assessment and cases matching your own pattern.

2. H2 Clinic — a broad treatment gallery

Its provider gallery allows review of several restoration categories. Ask which clinician performs extraction and recipient-site work, how the facility handles a complication and whether an early check can be completed before your flight.

3. Fakhraei Clinic, Tehran — branch and case documentation

The Tehran branch page and hair-transplant gallery help verify where a consultation is proposed and what examples the provider publishes. Confirm the actual surgeon, operative site, dates of comparable cases and full written price.

The best first call depends on your diagnosis, donor zone, budget and travel route. If another provider can document a stronger plan for your case, it should remain on the shortlist. Ask Hamintour to compare options side by side without turning the list into a paid ranking.
