Plastic Surgery Clinics, Hospitals and Surgeons in Iran: How to Compare Your Options
A photograph may start your search. It should not finish it. The surgeon’s registered specialty, the operating facility, anesthesia, complication plan and written total price matter more than a striking image. This guide brings together ten Tehran facilities, ten surgeons with direct medical-registration links, and source-attributed photographs so you can ask better questions before you travel.
General information only. Your treating clinician must assess your individual suitability. What a credible comparison can—and cannot—tell you
Start with the concern you want addressed: an upper eyelid obstructing vision, breast volume or position, a nasal breathing problem, skin remaining after major weight loss, an old scar, or reconstruction after injury. These are different consultations. The attractive phrase “plastic surgeon” alone does not tell you who has experience with your specific operation or where they perform it. Ask each candidate to explain the diagnosis, realistic benefit, nonoperative alternatives, anesthesia, likely scars, recovery, revision policy and what happens if healing goes badly. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons’ patient-safety resources offer a useful question framework, although Iranian licensing rules are separate.
The facilities below have a relevant published service or surgeon profile on an official site. The ten physician entries have direct public Iranian Medical Council profile URLs. Neither criterion establishes recent surgical volume, a complication rate, independent quality certification, current hospital privileges or the best match for you. A clinic may host consultations while surgery happens at a separate hospital. Ask for both names in writing. We have therefore kept the facility directory separate from the photographic gallery: an image published by a surgeon is attributed to that surgeon, not automatically to a hospital in the table.
For a stronger comparison, request at least two individually assessed treatment plans. Compare like with like: the same procedure, surgeon qualifications, anesthesia, facility, implants or devices, hospital stay and follow-up. If you have a complex medical history or are considering several operations together, get a second opinion and have your regular physician review the travel plan. The CDC medical-tourism guidance explains why continuity of care, records and complication planning belong in the decision.
Ten Tehran facilities to investigate
Tehran offers a practical starting point because these institutions publish relevant services and contact information. These are research leads, not a ranking. We distinguish hospitals from clinics: only the provider can confirm a specific operating room’s license, staffing and suitability for your procedure. Addresses are shown as published by the provider and should be reconfirmed before you travel.
| Facility | Type and published evidence | Tehran address and source | Question to ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ebnesina Hospital Official site | Hospital; plastic and reconstructive surgery Relevant provider page | Second Sadeghiyeh Square, Ayatollah Kashani Street Address source | Ask which surgeon, operating theatre and postoperative team would manage your particular procedure. |
| Kasra Hospital Official site | Hospital; published plastic-surgery staff Relevant provider page | Argentine Square, Alvand Street Address source | A published staff list does not establish a particular surgeon’s current availability or privileges. |
| Mahzar Clinic Official site | Cosmetic and skin clinic; confirm surgery venue Relevant provider page | Shahrak-e Gharb, Darya Boulevard, Kowsar Square, Sahel Building, No. 104 Address source | Clarify whether it offers consultation only and where any operation is actually performed. |
| Parsa Hospital Official site | Hospital; published plastic-surgeon profile Relevant provider page | South Valiasr Street, near Rah Ahan Square Address source | Confirm the surgeon’s current schedule and exact procedure before arranging travel. |
| Saadat Abad Medical Center Official site | Medical center; published cosmetic/plastic service Relevant provider page | Saadat Abad, East Sarv Street, Majd Street, No. 8 Address source | The service page spans different operations; request the exact operating location and scope. |
| Nikan Aghdasieh Hospital Official site | Hospital; international-patient service Relevant provider page | Aghdasieh, 22 Bahman Street, No. 6 Address source | Confirm the precise Nikan branch, theatre and surgeon; similarly named sites may differ. |
| Tahami Clinic Official site | Cosmetic clinic; published surgery information Relevant provider page | Jordan, West Atefi Street, No. 97 Address source | Ask whether the clinic is the consultation site or licensed operating site. |
| Moheb Mehr Hospital Official site | Hospital and specialty clinic Relevant provider page | Valiasr Street, beyond Vanak Square, Khalilzadeh Street Address source | A cosmetic outpatient service does not establish that every plastic operation is available. |
| Asia Hospital Official site | Hospital; published plastic-surgeon profile Relevant provider page | Beheshti Street, Ahmad Qasir Street, Pazhouheshgah Alley Address source | Check whether the listed surgeon currently performs your procedure at this site. |
| Melal Clinic Official site | Consultation clinic; published rhinoplasty gallery Relevant provider page | South Dibaji, Baradaran Joozi Street, Kamranieh Doctors Building, Floor 1, Unit 3 Address source | A clinic gallery does not prove that surgery takes place at this address. |
The published pages can change. Confirm the current legal name and address directly with the institution. We have left out map links because a search result that merely resembles a facility name is not a verified place pin.
Ten surgeons with direct Medical Council profiles
All ten names below appear in the Arabic source article with direct Iranian Medical Council profile links and a publicly listed plastic, reconstructive and burn-surgery qualification. Open the registration record yourself and verify the name, number and specialty at the time of booking. “Areas to discuss” are drawn from each clinician’s public site and are not audited case volumes or endorsements. A surgeon’s website and a facility’s website are independent evidence; neither proves current privileges at every center above.
| Surgeon | City | Published qualification and possible focus | Direct registration | Clinician site |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dr. Mehdi Ahmadi | Tehran | Plastic, reconstructive and burn surgery; ask about face and neck | No. 108819 Iranian Medical Council profile | Official clinician site |
| Dr. Hamed Bateni | Tehran | Plastic, reconstructive and burn surgery; ask about face, body and reconstruction | No. 37920 Iranian Medical Council profile | Official clinician site |
| Dr. Mohsen Fadaei | Tehran | Plastic, reconstructive and burn surgery; ask about face and reconstruction | No. 63822 Iranian Medical Council profile | Official clinician site |
| Dr. Arash Najaf Beygi | Tehran | Plastic, reconstructive and burn surgery; ask about face, eyelids and body | No. 82925 Iranian Medical Council profile | Official clinician site |
| Dr. Alireza Ghaseminejad | Tehran | Plastic, reconstructive and burn surgery; ask about abdomen, breast and body | No. 63078 Iranian Medical Council profile | Official clinician site |

| Dr. Mohsen Asadi | Tehran | Plastic, reconstructive and burn surgery; ask about face, breast and body contouring | No. 48962 Iranian Medical Council profile | Official clinician site |
| Dr. Ali Javdani | Tehran | Plastic, reconstructive and burn surgery; ask about aesthetic and reconstructive | No. 109546 Iranian Medical Council profile | Official clinician site |
| Dr. Gholam Hossein Ghorabi | Tehran | Plastic, reconstructive and burn surgery; ask about aesthetic and reconstructive | No. 45493 Iranian Medical Council profile | Official clinician site |
A registration entry establishes a listed credential, not a guaranteed outcome. During consultation ask how often the clinician performs your proposed operation, whether they will personally operate, which anesthesiologist and hospital will be involved, and how they manage unexpected bleeding, infection or revision.
Match the provider to the procedure, not just the label
Face and eyelids
For blepharoplasty, ask whether your concern is loose skin, fat protrusion, brow descent, or a medical eye issue. Brow lift, facelift, neck lift, ear surgery, chin surgery and scar revision all use different techniques. Request procedure-specific cases with similar anatomy and documented follow-up. See the eyelid surgery guide and facelift guide.
Nose and breathing
Rhinoplasty may change appearance, breathing or both. Prior surgery, asymmetry and different skin or cartilage characteristics can change the plan. Ask for the functional assessment and whether a revision specialist is needed. Compare the rhinoplasty landing guide with the specialist comparison.
Breast and body
Breast augmentation, reduction, lift, implant revision and reconstruction answer different needs. Liposuction removes selected fat deposits; a tummy tuck addresses excess abdominal skin and sometimes muscle separation. For body lifts after weight loss, healing and nutrition deserve particular attention. Read the tummy tuck guide and liposuction guide.
BBL needs an additional safety conversation. Fat transfer to the buttocks carries a distinctive risk of fat embolism. The joint specialty-society safety statement emphasizes placement above the gluteal fascia and supports ultrasound guidance. Ask a proposed surgeon to explain the technique, equipment, operating location and their own complication process. Do not choose this procedure on price alone. For reconstructive care after burns, cancer or trauma, prioritize the needed specialty team and rehabilitation pathway over cosmetic gallery photographs.
What might plastic surgery cost in USD?
Public prices are screening information, not a patient quotation. The Iran examples below come from one hospital’s international-facing price page in Mashhad. They are historical published examples, not current Tehran averages or observed Hamintour quotations. Until a surgeon and hospital review your case, a precise personalized figure cannot be responsibly claimed. The international figures use different published scopes, so read the comparison notes before drawing a conclusion.
| Procedure | Iran published example | Türkiye provider package example | US surgeon fee example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rhinoplasty | About $1,500 | About $3,500–$6,500 | About $7,500–$12,500 |
| Liposuction | About $1,500 | About $3,000–$6,000 | About $4,300–$7,500 |
| Breast augmentation | About $2,000 | About $3,500–$6,500 | About $4,575–$8,000 |
Approximate published figures only. Source names: Mehr Hospital international price list (Iran); Acibadem International treatment guides (Türkiye); American Society of Plastic Surgeons average surgeon-fee ranges (United States). Package contents, dates, currency conventions and tax/insurance treatment differ. US figures are surgeon fees, not full bills. These examples cannot establish that Iran is the lowest-priced option for every patient or procedure.
In this limited set of public examples the Iranian figure is lower, which makes Iran worth considering if the clinical and travel plan also meets your needs. The fairest test is a written, like-for-like quotation. Ask for surgeon fee, anesthesia, operating facility, implant or garment, laboratory tests, overnight stay, medicines, interpreter, hotel, transfers, possible revision and postoperative checks as separate lines. Compare our itemized proposal with other quotations; we will help you understand differences rather than promise an unverified “lowest price.”
For a broader regional frame, published rhinoplasty figures also include a Dubai provider’s starting price of AED 25,000, an NHS UK estimate of £4,000–£7,000 and a German clinic estimate of €7,500–€8,500. These are quoted in different currencies and scopes, so conversion to USD depends on the exchange rate and inclusions. Source names: Elemental Clinic Dubai; NHS; Alster Klinik. Exact costs in Iran require a current provider quote after assessment.

Before and after: published examples with named sources
These 28 gallery entries contain 34 image files already hosted by Hamintour. Paired files show separately labeled views; single files are provider-published comparisons. They are not 34 independent patients. Most available examples here are rhinoplasty, so the gallery is not a balanced measure of all plastic-surgery procedures. Neither a photograph nor a provider’s selection of its own cases can predict your outcome. Some originals do not state image timing, additional treatment, identical lighting or independent consent details. Ask the provider for full-resolution originals, dates, procedure details and the treating clinician before you rely on a case.
The source link below each case leads to the publishing surgeon or clinic. The photographs do not establish a relationship between that provider and any institution in our facility table. For other procedures, browse Hamintour’s broader before-and-after library, including breast lift and tummy tuck examples.

From first inquiry to safe follow-up
Before you commit
Share your main concern, previous operations, medicines, allergies and relevant reports securely with the treating provider. Ask for a consultation that explores whether surgery is appropriate, whether a less invasive approach could meet the goal, and whether your health creates an elevated risk. A serious offer should name the surgeon, actual operating facility, anesthesia type, expected stay, written consent process and postoperative contact. Confirm how you will receive reports and images, and where to seek emergency care if the surgeon is unavailable.
Before you travel
Check entry requirements on the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs e-visa portal and with the relevant consulate; nationality and travel history may change the route. Check a current government advisory relevant to your citizenship, such as the UK travel advice for Iran, before booking. Consider payment access, insurance exclusions and whether a companion is needed. Do not assume a standard travel policy covers elective surgery or its complications.
During the stay
A reasonable sequence is arrival and in-person assessment, final review of the plan and consent, surgery at the confirmed facility, early postoperative checks, then discharge after the treating team says it is appropriate. The sequence and length vary substantially by procedure and patient. A sightseeing itinerary should never determine medical timing. The CDC advises advance planning for complications and continuity of care after return. Long flights and recent surgery may compound blood-clot risk, so get individualized clearance rather than relying on a package’s fixed return date.
After you return
Leave with your discharge summary, operation note, implant identifiers where applicable, medication list, emergency contacts and follow-up schedule. Arrange a local clinician who can assess you if needed. Sudden breathing trouble, chest pain, heavy bleeding, fever or worsening pain require prompt medical assessment; do not wait for a message reply. Ask before travel whether remote follow-up covers your procedure and who pays if a revision or complication needs in-person care.
About hamintour Medical Tourism and what we coordinate
hamintour Medical Tourism is a medical-tourism coordination platform. We help international patients compare plausible care options in Iran and organize the practical steps around a provider’s medical plan. We are not a hospital, clinic or treating medical team. We do not diagnose, prescribe, operate or promise a clinical result. The treating licensed physician and facility make the final medical decisions with you.
Our support can include identifying relevant providers, arranging a consultation, sending records for the appropriate specialist’s preliminary review, obtaining written quotations, and coordinating appointments, flights on request, suitable accommodation, airport pickup, local transfers and an interpreter or companion where needed. We can help schedule tests or imaging when the physician orders them, coordinate a gentle leisure program only if medically appropriate, and facilitate follow-up contact after you go home. Tell us which services you want; the quotation should state what is included, what is optional and who supplies each part.
Compare any hamintour-assisted quotation with another written offer using the same surgeon, procedure and inclusions. Our value is in clear comparisons, organized logistics and continued communication, not in a blanket lowest-price guarantee. Explore the medical tourism platform and the medical magazine, or contact us on WhatsApp. You remain free to contact every provider directly.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a ranking of the best surgeons in Iran?
No. It is a sourced comparison starting point. Individual suitability depends on your procedure, health, the surgeon’s relevant experience and the operating facility.
Are all photographs from the ten hospitals listed here?
No. Each case is attributed to the publishing surgeon or clinic linked beneath it. We do not assign a private surgeon’s photographs to an unrelated hospital.
Does an Iranian Medical Council profile guarantee a good result?
No. It helps confirm a published registration and specialty. Ask separately about current privileges, your exact operation, complication management and realistic outcomes.
Are the published USD prices complete treatment packages?
No. The Iran figures are older examples from one hospital, Türkiye examples are provider package estimates, and US figures are surgeon fees. Obtain a current itemized quote for your own case.
Can hamintour tell me which surgery I need?
No. hamintour Medical Tourism coordinates information and travel. A licensed treating clinician must evaluate your health and decide on the treatment plan with you.
When can I fly home after plastic surgery?
The treating team should clear you after assessing healing and risk. Timing differs by operation and patient; avoid locking in a nonchangeable flight before receiving advice.
What should I compare in two offers?
Compare surgeon, procedure, anesthesia, operating site, implants or supplies, length of stay, medicines, follow-up, complication policy, travel services and exclusions.
Three useful places to begin your own shortlist
These are three practical starting points from the sourced directory, selected for different comparison needs. They are not the top three surgeons or a guarantee of quality. Request current clinician names, facility details and individual assessments before choosing.
- Ebnesina Hospital — its published plastic and cosmetic surgery department and international-patient information make it a sensible hospital-level inquiry. Confirm the exact team and room for your operation.
- Saadat Abad Medical Center — its procedure page covers facial, breast and body questions, useful when you still need to narrow the procedure. Clarify which operations it currently performs onsite.
- Dr. Mohsen Fadaei — a directly linked Medical Council record and a named gallery let you start a specific surgeon conversation. Verify your exact procedure, hospital privileges and full plan.
Use the broader plastic surgery guide to examine procedures, risks and recovery before you request a quote.
